Embrace the Camera: Traveling Buddies

It's another installment of Embrace the Camera over on Emily's blog!

We certainly did a lot of camera-embracing while we were in DC last weekend...

I mentioned yesterday how thankful we are for our ability and means to travel. The thing about it is, I know that we are setting a good foundation for our future-would-be-kiddos. We are learning to love each other first, becoming the best of friends, and having all the fun we can squeeze out of life. That's what traveling is to us...

Here's to seeing the world over! {or at least a lot of her.}

Red, White, and Blue

Matt and I had the pleasure of spending a few glorious fall days in DC last weekend... we seriously could not have dreamed up more perfect weather. And of course, true to form, we toured every major attraction in our signature whirlwind fashion...

This trip really made me sit back and realize how lucky we are. We have the opportunity and the means to travel and explore to our hearts' desire, and for that I am so grateful.... traveling with your best friend is usually truly the sweetest experience!

obsessed : Mood Boards

As if I needed another means of obsessing over interior design...

I found my new favorite time-consumer hobby! I stumbled across mydeco.com a few days ago and, ever since, have literally had to pry myself from the computer. It allows you to create 3d room designs and mood boards... While I've toyed around with the 3d designs a little, creating mood boards are truly what I cannot get enough of! They have every product in every style you can imagine and I have absolutely loved putting together rooms in styles or colors that I might not normally use.

Here is a cozy, comfortable bedroom in teal and mustard. It makes me feel energized and relaxed all in the same breath.

This is my absolute favorite! I am dying to create this nursery in real life when the time comes... not that I can afford a single thing from it! Matt is not thrilled about the metallic pouf (which is an absolute necessity) or the rug (chevron... done deal. sorry babe.) I love everything about this room. The teal and celery are in perfect harmony in my book.

I hope you'll try this amazing site out and please share your rooms with me if you do! So. Much. Fun.

The Shop - vintage goodness

I've added quite a few new items to my shop! We are also sporting a pretty new URL...

I am still refinishing beautiful vintage windows and listing them as they're ready... I've got three lovely, colorful ones coming and I can't wait to show you!

In the meantime, I have stumbled across so many vintage treasures, and just can't keep them to myself! Although I can't say I haven't tried... :)
