Spring has Sprung!

It's here! It's here!

These 80 degree temperatures have been downright good for my soul! I have been itching for a year-round wreath for the front door for a while now but haven't really had any inspiration until now.

I covered the wreath form in jute and wrapped a few pieces of scrap lace around it... I made some (springy!) yellow flowers and pinned them on for some color. I just love the idea of being able to interchange the flowers with each season or holiday. Hooray for easy!

Happy spring!

lovey dovey

With Valentine's Day just right around the corner, it is hard to ignore the many cutesy crafts and yummy treats making their way around the web.

Valentine's Day always seemed so pointless to me while I was growing up. But it's way more fun when you're married!

I'm already made a sweet little gift for my Valentine, but am looking forward to whipping up a few yummy treats for him too!

Happy day-o-love!

Christmas Goodies

Although I am completely done with Christmas shopping (and wrapping... mmhmm. superwoman, right here), I couldn't help but drool over a few of the items in this particular online store..

There's just something about a little frog prince...I can't explain it. But I love him!

And I know just the person on my list that would be getting this...

And as a splurge...

Some Girls are Born with Glitter in their Veins

Who doesn't love a little sparkle during the holidays??

Or, if you're me... all year round.

Here are a few of the bedazzled accessories I am drooling over this season...

30 Days of Thankfulness - #29 - O Christmas Tree

There's nothing quite like decorating the house for Christmas and wrapping gifts up for the ones you love.

I'm so grateful for this time of year. For finding ways to show love to our families and friends through gifts and time. For the purpose behind the season and the opportunity to remember the birth of our Savior. May we have constant reminders of the Reason we are celebrating.

Thankful,
Lauren
